自力で避難を決めて息子を連れて来た日、この窓を開けて風が入って来て、マスクを外して眠らせてあげられた、そんな当たり前の事に安堵して力が抜けた。br/ その日から6年を暮らした部屋。br/ 窓の外には送電用の大きな鉄塔が連なる。br/ 実はここは東京電力の社宅だった。br/ 東京電力は、加害側の贖罪としてではなく、一企業として被災3県に自社社宅を提供するというスタンスだったので、福島県からの災害支援要請が打ち切りになった平成29年3月に退去を迫った。br/ 災害支援要請の延長を決めた岩手県からの避難者はそのまま居住していた。br/ 母子家庭の自力での引越しは簡単ではなく、半年間は延長してもらえたが、br/ 福島からの避難者としては、様々な想いと悔し涙をのみ込んだ。br/ 写真は退去の日に撮影。br/br/ span class="small"strongsnowy/strongbr/ 東京都多摩地区 2017年9月 撮影/spanbr/_______________________________br/ br/ br/The day I evacuated to this place with my son, I opened the window and let in some air. br/ We took off our masks and closed our eyes. br/ Funny how something as ordinary as not wearing a mask could provide us with so much relief. br/ We could finally loosen up. br/ We lived here for 6 years. Outside the window you can see a row of transmission towers. br/ This place was once actually TEPCO company housing. br/ TEPCO provided company-housing to the three affected prefectures [of Fukushima, Miyagi, and Iwate], br/ mdash; not from the stance of a guilty party making amends, but as simply a corporate decision.br/ Once Fukushima Prefecture stopped requesting disaster-relief support in March 2017, we were asked to leave. br/ In contrast, Iwate Prefecture extended their request, and evacuees from there were allowed to continue living in these company houses.br/ Relocating as a single mother was not easy without aid, and we were eventually able to receive a 6-month extension.br/ Still, thinking about all the pain and frustration wersquo;ve lived through as evacuees from Fukushima choked me up. br/ I took this picture the day we moved out.br/br/ span class="small"strongsnowy/strongbr/ Photo: Tama District, Tokyo, September 2017/span
